1 Thessalonians 4: Watchfulness for the Lord

Good morning, everyone! I hope you have all had a great past week (or however long it’s been since I’ve brought a Coffee and Bible Time message)! I have been super busy around my house doing all sorts of Springtime projects. We got chickens last month and have been building a coop and run for them. See my Instagram posts for pics. 🙂 I’ve also been getting really into gardening, so that’s keeping me very busy as well. If you listened to our latest podcast message, “What’s On Your Tree,” (if not, you can listen here: https://anchor.fm/salty-saints/episodes/Whats-On-Your-Tree-e1e7csm) you know we talked about cultivating the fruits of the Spirit in our lives and I mentioned some of the things I like to do that bring me joy…so now you know why I’ve been a little absent in this realm as I’ve been enjoying the BEAUTIFUL southeast Texas sunshiny weather God has given us this past week.

But I’m back today with chapter 4 of 1 Thessalonians and while a short recording, I think it’s a really good one. All of Scripture is though, is it not? I love God’s Word and how applicable it is to all of us, today just as much as 2,000 years ago…4,000 years ago…yesterday, today, and forever! I hope you’ll grab a cup of coffee (or tea, water, whatever you like!) and join me and the Holy Spirit as we continue this journey together. God bless you all, friends!
